Chartwell House - Penshurst Place - Hever Castle Tour from Greenwich Cruise Terminal 2024

You will be met from your Cruise Ship at Greenwich Cruise Terminal at approx 8 am by your Guide Gary, who will be waiting to take you on your Private Guided Tour for the day.

 

When you’re safely on board it will take about 90 minutes to travel to Chartwell House, the family home of Sir Winston Churchill who brought this fabulous house for its fantastic views over the weald of Kent. 

Discover the loves and life of this Statesman.

 

We will then take a drive through the beautiful Kentish countryside stopping for lunch at one of the traditional English Pubs on the way.

 

Then on to Penshurst Place, a 14th Century Manor House with a depth of Royal History set in 500 acres of scenic Parkland and wonderful Lakes.

 

An approx 15 minute drive takes us to the double moated impressive

Hever Castle with 700 years of history set in 125 acres of award winning gardens to enjoy.

 

There will be plenty of photo opportunities throughout the day and we will make sure that you can truly enjoy everything at your own pace.

 

The Tour finishes at Hever Castle around 18:00 hrs and then we will drive (approx. a 60 minute drive) in style and comfort back to your Cruise Ship at Greenwich Cruise Terminal.

 

This Tour is only suitable for people who are happy with the later finishing time.
